The National Trailer & Towing Association

The NTTA was founded in 1975 as the Association of Trailer Manufacturers and has since evolved into a wider, modern and dynamic body. The NTTA sets the standards for the towing industry today.

DfT withdraw 1020kg exemption Updat

The DfT intends to withdraw the 1020kg unladen weight exemption for trailers when assessing whether O Licence is reqd

Man convicted - unsafe towing

A man was given a suspended prison sentence for unsafe towing of a trailer on the M62 near Huddersfield.

Changes to MoT test April 2012

Changes are being made to the MoT test to increase inspection of towbars and towing electrics
